FOCUS on Hearing the Voice of the People

In 2009 TRFS introduced a new Strategic Plan in which the FOCUS service and the Participation strategy would be reviewed and restructured as necessary. For organisational restructuring to be meaningful it must deliver real improvements, and it should lead to positive outcomes for all of those individuals who are at the heart of the process.

The FOCUS Manager and three Development Officers conducted 4 x 2hr workshops for the Festival of Ideas in Oct/Nov 2009.

Following these, a combined workshop is now planned in which you can meet all of the team and hear about their work in strategic planning and change (Eddy), Staff Training (Jamie), Challenging Stigma (Stephanie) and Service Feedback (Jenny). We also hope to have some of the people who have been supported come along and share their unique perspective and experience while being involved in FOCUS.

You can hear the human stories of hope and expectation during a complex process of organisational change and restructure.
Places are limited to 20 and are available on a first come first served basis.
