Swine Flu - Emergency Planning
You will be aware of the threat of pandemic and this has set the Council’s emergency planning process in motion. Under the Civil Contingencies Act (Scotland) 2005, we require to ensure that we provide essential services during an emergency. As a provider of social care services, it is our expectation that your organisation will be ready and have appropriate arrangements in place to manage service delivery should the situation escalate.
If you encounter a particular difficulty in managing the implications of this situation please contact the appropriate care group lead as identified below. If your organisation provides services across care groups, please make this known to the officer you contact and they will liaise with relevant sections.
