I started work many years ago in Child Care in Ayrshire, moving to Glasgow when I qualified and worked in the Education Department Nursery schools. I subsequently moved to Yorkhill Hospital, Department for Child and Family Psychiatry which was my first experience of working in the field of Mental Health and trained as RMN. When I qualified, I worked in the acute wards of Gartnavel Royal Hospital for a couple of years before leaving the statutory sector to take up my first post in the voluntary sector. I have since worked in SAMH and Carr-Gomm Scotland and joined Penumbra in Jan 2009.
